    Table Fellowship in Luke 22:14-30: Our Model for Sharing in The Eucharist with Special Reference to Mji Wa Huruma, In Musoma, Tanzania

    One of the most appealing characteristics that attracted me to Africa is its hospitality. Each country and tribe has its own way of welcoming people. As a missionary student, I had the opportunity to experience this said hospitality in many different places and with people of different tribes. Although each tribe differs in the manner it welcomes people, there is one thing similar; people are always ready to receive visitors whoever they are. This experience triggered the desire in me to search out and understand the meaning of our Christian vocation as a communion When I was in the second year of theology, I wrote a paper for my Christology class entitled, "Jesus, the One Who Gathers People." In it. I discussed the attitude of Jesus towards other people, whether sinners or saints. Since then, this idea lingered in my thoughts. The following years in my study of Bible, particularly in the Gospel of Luke, I discovered "Table Fellowship" as one of the most important elements in Christianity. My interest did not end there and I chose this topic for my long essay, with the hope that indeed it would become part and parcel of my being and my missionary vocation
