This is enhancing into practice when the leaders of that society are fully committed to fulfill their work in order to attain that development. A leader has to take the mandate of ruling people in a proper way which is accountable and acceptable by all in agreement on what to be imprimented and actualized in time for the sake of development. For the society to develop and prosper well it needs the power of sovereign and the power of authority. For the society to prosper it needs a clear and determined mind set from the leader to the serves of that society to attain that mind set in order to govern and lead the society into a better and adorable existence. We need each other in one way all the other, no man can survive alone without the dependence of the environment he is and the governance he is exposed to. If the governance is clear and focused on what is essential to all individual who are in that error, they are opted to fulfill them in a melodious way for all the success of his people. In the society we are today, most of the influences we have are from the prominent individuals who are powerful and dependent of what to take and to live on. For us to attain a successful and prospering society we need to be ready in enduring all the sacrifices for the determent of the society we are and for the coming generation.

(Tangaza University College, 2022-11-11) BUKWIMBA, BONIPHACE JOHN
This long essay is about the role played by Rosmini’s idea of being as the source of all ideas. It will concentrate on how we derive several other concepts from the concept of being. Rosmini, a rationalist, will aid us in comprehending the notion of being the entrance to all concepts. The concept of being can be referred to as "truth" when it is seen as the representative of things insofar as they are known. In addition, this concept of being is known in ethics as the fundamental moral law and the basis for all moral judgments. This long essay is presented in four chapters, namely thesis design, the origin and nature of the idea of being, idea of being in relation to other ideas, and the possible application. Furthermore, each chapter has both an introduction and conclusion, also this paper contains a general conclusion, footnotes and sources of the material used. Chapter one talks about thesis design. In this chapter we shall introduce the work generally starting from the background, statement of the problem, research objectives, research questions, significance of the study, literature review, research methodology, theoretical framework, research findings and conclusion. The second chapter introduces us the philosophical meaning of the idea of being according to Rosmini. In this chapter we shall see the very nature and origin of the idea of being, we shall also see the life and works of Antonio Rosmini and the conclusion. The third chapter will discuss how truth, goodness, and justice relate to the concept of being. We shall also see how the concept of being is also called the first moral law in ethics. In the fourth chapter we shall explain the possible applications of the idea of being. In this chapter, we'll explore how the principle by which we know things changes when the concept of being is applied to them. The final chapter will be a summary, in which we shall discuss the significance of the notion of being, or the light of reason, as Rosmini refers to it, as the only means of understanding other notions. In this chapter we shall conclude that it is through the idea of being we know other ideas, that is through understanding the meaning of our existence we can come to the knowledge of other ideas. In summary, this paper is all about understanding the meaning of our existence, that in Rosmini’s understanding the concept of being or the light of reason is given to us at our conception therefore, we cannot think of anything without this idea, and hence reason should be at the center of our life.

(Tangaza University College, 2022-11-11) OBIRI, OMBATI VINCENT
Problem of evil and suffering in the realm of existence greatly challenges us in our own existence as well as our belief in the good, all-powerful and all-loving God. The problem of suffering and the reality of evil reflects daily in the pages of human experience and existence. There are sorts of sorrows and sufferings, all kinds of inhumanities to man and his insecure existence in the world. Evil and suffering is always a dark, ugly heartbreaking and crushing reality. Therefore, this paper will help us understand the human suffering in relation to existence. The paper embraced philosophical methods of historical, analytical and theological. Historical since I didn’t start from scratch, problem of suffering is historical. Our topic being a philosophical problem, the question ‘why’ this affecting man. Can we address it rationally? Analytical since we have analyzed ideas developed about the problem of our subject as we came across them in our study. We saw the arguments of different philosophers more so Soren Kierkegaard his ideas and many philosophies more so existentialism school of thought; hence we embraced the method of analytical. The topic being a theological problem since it touches the person of God and his ways of acting upon His creatures who experience the existence, they are the ones to have faith in him and they are the subjects of evil and suffering; hence again the paper had to take the study of the nature of God and religious belief dimensions. Thus, our topic tackled different questions in this study, at last we come to agree that suffering can’t not be an idea to talk about without existence of human, that is to say actually that is to say, the essential part of existence is suffering.

THE PLACE OF MORALITY IN CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: FROM KANT’S PERSPECTIVE
(Tangaza University College, 2022-11-11) MUHATIA, IGNATIUS
Looking at most economies, corporations have replaced family production as a means of human sustenance. They to portray themselves as full and good citizens caring for society through Corporate Social Responsibility activities. However, a critical review of documented cases on international businesses arena shows that this may be a marketing strategy. The activities themselves and the means of implementation contradict with other practices of the corporation. Corporations are not just legal bodies, but also moral agents, responsible for praise or blame for their acts. Their activities therefore ought to be morally good. We argue that to the extent that these actions are driven by other motives other than performance of the good in itself, and do not respect the freedoms and uphold respect and dignity of the person, as required under Kantian Categorical Imperatives, they are unethical. Otherwise, CSR as an act of benevolence from duty is morally good. Furthermore, moral good and making profits for the company are not mutually exclusive, since they can be achieved simultaneously. The Categorical Imperative formulation of “kingdom of ends” recognizes that there are many stakeholders, and every member should treat the others as ends and not means. Thus, an initiative that meets interests of more than one category of stakeholders at the same time is not necessarily against acting from duty. Therefore, this study research on looking at how moral values can be inculcated in corporations’ corporate social responsibility activities. This is done by specifically looking at Kant’s moral theory, and how the Categorical Imperatives formulated by him can shape CSR.
