Item The Bible Teaching On The Attitude Towards One's Enemies And The Pokot Culture(Tangaza University College, 2002-02) Resende, FilipeThis study aims at highlighting possible ways to make a reality among the Pokot Jesus' call to love one's enemies. Many have discouraged me by saying that such a thing would be impossible for the pastoralist Mot. (I wonder if it is easy for any of us!) I was told that their history and life is inbred with such activities. I think that if God is at work in all peoples of the world through the Spirit (cf. Acts 10:44-45)) then Jesus also wills his message to reach the Pokot. Since then, 1 have visited Ptikot land many times, both East and West Mot, especially the pastoralist area, which remains an area of first evangelisation.
