Abstract
For any apostolic religious society. which was founded before the Vatican • Council II. undergoing changes or rather. inculturation to the new requirements of the mission is indispensable. So through various General Chapters the IMC institute has made tremendous attempt to respond to the needs of the time and at the same time to carry out the revision necessary in order to bring it's charism in line w ith .4d Genres. As an IMC member I feel that. it is my duty to involve myself in this process of rediscovering. keeping alive and developing the essential and perennial nucleus of the idea that inspired, and the spirit that moved the founder. that is. to be able to interpret the spirit of the Founder and our tradition tit relation to our time. -The renewal of the society under all aspects calls for continued research and confident experimentation."' Therefore. it is my hope that the research that I am going to undertake will be an opportunity for me to give a positive contribution as far as the renewal of the Institute and the Church at large is concerned.
