Abstract
This research examines the phenomenon of malnourished children highlighting some of the major causes and how various organizations are trying to address this issue. They have studied the aim at searching the general attitudes of the community towards malnutrition among children and the difficulties they face. Data collection involved experiencing life on the malnourished children in Mikinduri, interviewing mothers affected a part from reading newspaper and analyzing secondary sources In our research findings, we found out that malnourished children no matter how disfigured or affected, they still belong to us and we value their lives and good health. The children catered for by Muguna project have so far benefited from basic needs such as shelter, clothing, nutritious foods, health education among others. Finally my research is divided into five chapters. The first chapter examines the background of the phenomenon of the malnourished children in Milcinduri area. Chapter two focuses on the literature review. The third chapter explains the research methodology. The fourth chapter deals with results and data analysis of our findings. It also proposes a curriculum on how and what to teach the families. In the last chapter, we have the project proposal which will try to implement our recommendations and suggestions hoping to give an answer to this pressing problem.
