Tangaza Update(Welcome)

Abstract

I am delighted al the start of a new academic year lo welcome everyone to Tangaza. It is always good to see fa­ ~ 1Air faces returning. It is particularly encouraging lo see trlargesl number ever of new members, both staff and slu- its. This is a tribute lo the enthusiasm and hard work in of 011 members of the community, promoting Tangaza and rais­ ing our profile. Together we must commit ourselves to con­ solidating the achievements of the past and continuing to build on our solid foundations. . At our core, we are a Catholic College training peo­ ple for a wide variety of ministries in East Africa and be­ yond. Al the same lime we embrace the diversity brought by members of other Christian traditions and other religions. We acknowledge the equality of all people and must doily show this forth in our practice. My earnest wish is that all th.ose who make up the Tangaza community will be happy and fulfilled here in the. coming year. This should allow us to live up lo our motto:Tangaza Fumbo la imani
