Abstract
A
commission from CUEA led by Prof. Peter Gichure,
in
charge
of Cuea linkages
with
other University Institutions. The focus of the inspection was
the two doctoral programs in social transformation:
the PhD and the Professional doctorate. The formal
approval of the programme was given by the Senate
of CUEA
in early 2014, the programme took
of
on
the 5th September 2014.
The
aim of
the visitation
was to verify the resources Tangaza made available
for the sound running of the doctoral programmes.
Hence the inspection of the human resources, full
time and part time lecturers and administrators, financial
resources
through school fees and other incomes,
the
academic resources, particularly the verification
of the degrees of lecturers and supervisor the library
and journals available to students. The IT equipment.
The visitation had four moments. The first was the
presentation of the program and of the resources of
Tangaza done by the institute of SM with a Power
Point. The second moment, the reactions of the visitors
with
remarks
and
discussion
and
clarification
on
the
presentation. Third,
the physical inspection of
the
facilities
of
Tangaza:
library,
rooms, cubicles etc.
