Abstract

Music has become a culture that has been adopted by the entire human race. It is common in all areas of our life as human beings. For some people they cannot stay for a day without listening to Music. Today some people have Music in their houses, in the vehicles, in the places of work and public places. This prevalent music culture has been a point of my reflection in my life. The Kind of music that one listens to differs from one individual to the other. My experience in Christian music has been so enriching to my spiritual life. God has given me a talent of singing and playing musical instruments. Generally I have a great interest in music. Religious Music has been a source of inspiration in many occasions of my life. I have experienced God's Graces through religious music. I have also witnessed and observed many people who have had the same experience like me. The idea of approaching music theogically came to mind and I thought it would be a springboard to realizing its importance in evangelisation. Therefore, I have felt the need to explore this noble art and come out with a theological reflection on sacred music and evangelisation.
