Unemployment in Malawi Case of Miracle Project

Abstract

The problem that has been discussed In the essay is unemployment in Malawi, case M.I.R.A.C.L.E project. The research took place In Malawi and in the northern region of the country in a district called Karonga. This was done between the months of June and August 2000. Data collection was done through personal observation, this was carried out through visiting the most affected areas within the district. Another method was through Interviews. The researcher Interviewed the victims of the situation and drew from the interviews a clear judgement on the impact of the problem on the local people. The findings of the research are that; Malawi Is facing a challenging problem of unemployment among her citizens. It is quite a serious problem that it might take some good number of years to curb it. Unemployment in Malawi a third world country, might be a reflection of the same situation in other third world countries in Africa. However, In Malawi there are Church and non governmental organisations that are trying to help out on the problem. One of such organisation is the M.I.R.A.C.LE project
