Factors Contributing to The Drop- Out of The Youth from The Catholic Church: A Case of Kiambene Parish, Nyahururu Diocese

Abstract

The study is basically about the factors contributing to the drop out of the youth below the age of 27 years from the Catholic Church in Kiambene parish. The purpose of this study is to find out what causes the drop out of the youth from Catholic Church in Kiambene parish and find a solution to help the youth in the development of their faith spiritually, socially, physically and psychologically. The study presents the background of the study, the statement of the study and the purpose of the study. The main objectives of the study is to identify the role and the challenges of the youth in Kiambene parish, determine what causes of the drop out of the youth the church and establish possible measures and practices to be taken to prevent the drop out of the youth from Kiambene parish and finally will be the conclusion.
